Welcome to Nodoo. We are committed to protecting your privacy. We believe that your task lists, notes, and schedules are deeply personal and should remain under your control. This Privacy Policy explains our approach to data and security.

2. No Data Collection

We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your personal data.

  • You can use Nodoo immediately without manual registration. A secure anonymous account is created automatically, with optional Apple ID linkage.
  • There are no third-party tracking pixels, analytics code, or advertising trackers embedded in the application.
  • We do not track your usage patterns or collect diagnostic data without your explicit consent.

3. Local Data Storage

All data you input into Nodoo—including tasks, projects, areas of focus, tags, headings, and checklists—is stored locally on your device in a secure database managed via Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is protected by your device's native hardware encryption (Secure Enclave).

4. System Permissions & Integrations

Nodoo requests permissions to access certain system frameworks to enhance your productivity. All such integrations are processed strictly locally on your device:

  • Apple Reminders Access: If granted, Nodoo reads and writes tasks to Apple Reminders to sync them locally. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to us or any third party.
  • Apple Calendar Access: If granted, Nodoo displays your calendar events to help you plan your schedule. We do not store, upload, or transmit your calendar events.

5. Cloud Synchronization

If you choose to sync your data across devices, Nodoo utilizes a secure cloud database infrastructure. Your data is synchronized directly from your device to secure database nodes. We do not inspect, sell, or share your synced task data, and it remains completely private to you.

6. Children's Privacy

Since we do not collect any personal data, Nodoo does not knowingly collect or solicit any information from children under the age of 13. Nodoo is safe for users of all ages.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
